Bungie Day: How to Get Recon Armor
So I am guessing most of you are ready for tomorrow, the playlist made for 4V4, and to duel up against some of the creators of Halo 3. So I am sure your wondering, how exactly can I get Recon armor? Well here is the deal, all you have to do is play the special list, and match up with the Bungie staff, and defeat them. Then your team will get Recon Armor.

Summer Mythic Recon Challenge IV
Following up on last weeks Summer Mythic Recon Challenge, we bring you the fourth installment to grab Recon Armor thanks to Bungie. In this weeks challenge, you and your trusty Warthog will hit Tsavo Highway. You must play solo on Mythic difficulty (Legendary and all 13 skulls activated, FFA scoring). You can start fighting for Recon Armor tonight at midnight. Not like the last challenge, Arbiter will not lend a helping hand, but HBO has a cool walkthrough and a new written 2.0 guide to help you become victorious. Additional rules are below the jump.

Win Recon Armor on Bungie Day - July 7th 2009
Want Recon Armor? Cool, so does many other players, but you will have your chance on July 7th 2009, aka Bungie Day. As you know Bungie’s favorite number is 7, so July (7) and the 7th (7) will bring us 32 community made map variants, with 4v4 battles. How do you win? All you need to do is play. Also, Bungie developers will also play against the players, which is really cool, and if your selected in the match, you will grab the most sought after armor: Recon. This play list will only last for 24 hours, good luck.

Halo 3 Recon Generator
I am sure a ton of you have been watching Youtube videos on different ways to obtain Recon Armor or Flaming Recon Armor. Something I personally have seen more of is whats being called “Halo 3 Recon Generator”. I took a look at it, and personally seems like a fraud! You put your Gamertag in the generator, click that you want which type of armor, and it takes 30 minutes? I can not say for sure, but it seems like they are trying to break your password. So for any of you trying to get this armor, stay away from Halo 3 Recon Generator.
